I know that you are busy and need easy and low prep ideas for your classroom, so I’ve got 5 easy 4th of July gift ideas that you can easily prep for and give to your students! All gifts can be purchased at Dollar Tree or Target for one dollar or less! Let’s take a look at the ideas now!
1. Glow Sticks 4th of July Gift
Glow sticks are one of my favorite gift ideas because they’re so festive and fun to use and they’re mess-free and safe to use for younger students! Students will surely have fun using these 4th of July night! You can easily grab them at your nearest Dollar Tree for $1.25 each.
2. Bubbles 4th of July Gift
Bubbles, bubbles, can you ever go wrong with bubbles? I think not! Bubbles are always a favorite with students and they will use them! You can buy a pack of smaller bubbles from either Dollar Tree, Target, or Michaels. I find Dollar Tree to be the cheapest place to buy. You’ll usually find a pack of 3. You could also do bubble wands or bubble play sets.
3. Pop Rocks 4th of July Gift
If you can give candy at your school, then your students will love getting Pop Rocks! I honestly think the 4th of July is the best time to give them because it’s so fitting for the 4th of July! It’s like little firecrackers going off in your mouth! Dollar Tree sells packs of 3 for $1.25. You could give each student just one, or if your budget allows a little extra, you can give each student the entire package that contains three inside.
4. Ring Pop 4th of July Gifts
Really tight on a budget or just don’t want to spend that much, ring pops are it for you then! You can get a pack of 4 at the Dollar Tree for $1.25! I grew up loving ring pops as a kid and I know your students will be just excited to get them too!
5. Pop-Its Gifts
Okay, so technically the last gift is more for older students, but I just had to include it just in case! Is Fourth of July even complete if you don’t throw a few pop-its on the ground? I loved using these as a kid and so will your students! Your students will be sure to use these in their celebrations and they are so fun to give! You can find them at the Dollar Tree for only $1.00 each!
Teacher Tip: Be sure to remind your students how to use these safely (e.g. throw them at the ground, not towards people) and give it to them right before they leave school, so they will not be tempted to use them at school. Please note that these are suitable for older students 12 years and older.
Alternatively, you can gift younger kiddos toy pop-it keychains if they’re too young for the pop-it noisemakers. Amazon has 4th of July theme keychains. You can get a pack of 30 for under $20.
Don’t forget to add the finishing touch to your gifts by attaching cute gift tags to them. I have FREE printable 4th of July gift tags that you can get from my TpT store. These fourth of July gift tags are available in both color and black and white and are editable, so you can type in your teacher name and Adobe will automatically populate on all the gift tags, so you don’t have to type your name over and over.
